Ear seeding

Ear seeds are small seeds used to stimulate pressure points in your ear.

For example, a commonly used point to seed is the “Shen Men” point’ ; “this functions on the cerebral cortex to regulate over-excitation. Extremely good analgesic (relieves pain), tranquilizes the mind. Also for detoxification, substance abuse, coughs, fever, inflammatory conditions, epilepsy, high blood pressure.'‘

Additional Ear Seeding ( up to 3 points in each ear) to a Foot Treatment, $8

Reflexology is the art of…..

Hello, my name is Jennifer Hlannon and I am a Certified Foot and Ear Reflexology Therapist. I have been practicing Reflexology since Oct 2017. I was first introduced to it when I had a treatment at the Kingfisher Spa near Courtenay - At the time, I did not know what I was getting, but, after the treatment I went to my hotel room and said to my husband, “Whatever that was, can I please learn it!” It was SO deeply relaxing, I felt the most relaxed I had ever felt. I signed up for my Reflexology Association of Canada Course in Victoria, BC, later that month.

What is Reflexology? Reflexology is a natural therapeutic treatment that is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the body that map to other parts, organs and glands of the body. A Reflexology Therapist, by stimulating all the reflexes (nerve and energy pathways) on the foot, ear or hands, is giving the client a FULL BODY TREATMENT. A Therapist can stimulate parts of the brain, the kidneys, stomach, spine, lymphatic system and so on.

The Benefits of Reflexology: Reflexology relieves tension in the body; increases circulation of blood and lymph; and helps the body to normalize its function.

People say they feel stress and anxiety relief, reduction in pain, symptom relief with what they are dealing with, improved sleep, ease in breathing, reduction in foot pain, increased feeling in their toes, and elevated energy levels.

“Jen is an absolute magician and gem! I have been going to her weekly for several months and she has been working on specific issues related in my body. Amazing! I have been able to walk without pain and move with ease after her relaxing and focused work with me. Her treatment space is calming and peaceful. Jen's treatments are now a regular part of my self care routine!”

“I have been working with Jennifer on Reflexology treatments since October 2018 and she is so in tune with my body’s problem areas! She has helped me with pain in my knees from being a marathon runner to my digestive problems too! Even as far as helping me with my skin problems especially with psoriasis.”

Sue M, 68

Jennifer has given me several Foot Reflexology treatments. At the first treatment the side of my left toe was very painful with arthritis; three visits later the pain which I had had for some time is no longer there. After each session I feel energized and relaxed. Jennifer is knowledgeable and caring and what is nice is that after a couple days of having had the treatment she phones to check up on me and to answer any questions or concerns I may have.

Michèle W, 76

I noticed that after having a few treatments with Jennifer that I was more relaxed, I slept better, and after a few more treatments I didn’t need to use my puffer so many times a day. I noticed that especially when I’m relaxed in the morning after a good night’s sleep that the pain is not as excruciating.
